Tarón’s fresh and dry Rosado is made using the traditional Clarete method of bending red and white grapes, here 50/50 Viura and Grenache fermented and aged in stainless steel for crispness and freshness.
Bodegas Tarón is a cooperative situated in the cool northern part of the Rioja Alta, their grapes are sourced from four neighbouring villages, Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, Sajazarra, Villaseca and Tirgo which shared similar terroir and climate; they have about 700 hectares of vineyards giving them enough for their needs and excess to sell, it also means that all their wines can be labelled as Rioja Alta.
