A classy Pinot Noir from the western Languedoc made by two families from the Maconnais
This attractive Pinot Noir comes from high lying vineyards in the West of the Languedoc. The domaine is owned by the Collovray and Terrier families who also run the Deux Roches estate near Pouilly Fuissé, so they know how to handle Pinot noir and Chardonnay.
The high altitude between 350-500m keep the temperature in check and the conical fossilised seashells called Turitelles give good minerality to the resulting wines.
Attractive juicy cherry and strawberry fruit with a nice balance of acidity and minerality, drinking beautifully.
