A delicious, elegant un-oaked Chardonnay from Sonoma.
Scribe Winery founded in 2007 by brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani on the site of a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking.
Their elegant unoaked Chardonnay comes from vines in Los Carneros, picked by hand and whole cluster pressed and run off into concrete and stainless steel tanks for a spontaneous fermentation and aged a further 6 months on its lees. The result is unusually delicate and pretty red apple fruit with hints of greengages and pineapple, shot through with racy mineral and saline notes the finish is very long, lovely!
