This elegant Crémant de Limoux is made by the Antech family who have been crafting excellent sparkling wines for 6 generations.
Composed of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Chenin Blanc and 10% Mauzac, the delightful Cuvée Eugénie is an hommage to Eugénie Limouzy the great-aunt of Georges and Roger Antech who currently run the winery alongside Georges' winemaker daughter, Francoise.
The wine is made using the traditional method and aged for 12 months on the lees which adds a lovely toasty complexity. The nose burst with crisp lemon and green apple aromas leading to a palate that reveals beautiful balance between freshness and subtle nuttiness.
