Marjan Simčič is one of Slovenia’s top winemakers, his vinyards span the Italian-Slovenian border.
Marjan’s impressive Pinot Noir has acomplex palate ofgamey,savoryred fruits with plenty of structure and minerality with some relly good levels of fruit underneath. With a little time in the glass or decanter this opens up beautifully, a great alteernative to Burgundy, sadly Marjan’s fame goes before him so not cheap but neither is Burgundy.
